What I worked on
In this project we weren't given specific roles, so we interchanged a lot, I worked on the concept, I defined the mechanics and the dynamics, guided some playtest, wrote some drafts of the rules, and interacted with the artist that created the artworks.
Challenges
The start of the project was very smooth, we didn't face difficulties until the playtesting. The first focus group made us reconsider a big part of the gameplay, that was too random. To fix this we started a long cycle of iteration and testing, always keeping the core solid. In this phase the project went under deep changes that solidified before the last week of the project, when we ended up with a replayable and entertaining product. The last week was dedicated to the balancing and refinement, as the layout of the manual was set.
